His Desire is Toward Me

Here I lay dark, afraid, and ashamed
Dark because I have given up on the light
Afraid to step out and try to love again
I am incapable of loving or being loved
And I am ashamed that this is the life I live
All of a sudden love Himself comes to meet me where I am
As He walks in the room it is completely flooded with light
He draws near to me and lifts my head from hanging low with despair
He gazes into my eyes
As I look back I could see a fire burning with desire for me
His voice of many waters so gentle yet strong beckoning me
"Come away with me my darling, my beloved one"
And my heart is over taken by His loving kindness washing over me
Before i could even utter a word in response He continues on
"Let my perfect love drive away all your fears and doubts
You are beautiful, I see no blemish in you my bride "
Awestruck by His unfailing love for me I am willingly whisked away
And He has never me let go ever since
