Hierarchy Of Needs

Nothing sweeter than ice cold water to a parched mouth

The sweet nectar oozes into the throat

Nothing fresher than a crisp fruit to an grumbling stomach

The crunch and slurp as the firm surface breaks into moisture

Nothing purer than the morning sun to a cold body

The light beams cascading on a hazel arm

Nothing cozier than an outdoor castle to roofless mind

The sheets strewn high and soft pillows spread low

Nothing calmer than a sleeping breath to a lonely soul

The small chest rising and falling atop another

Nothing greater than noticing eyes to a passive voice

The simple gesture reveals climbing to the peak

Nothing fuller than standing on two feet to a hopeless wanderer

The satisfaction of getting farther down the right path
