Hiding Hood

Mon, 08/14/2017 - 15:41 -- atpt99

Was never one to listen to mother

Normally straying from the beaten path

On this day I came upon another

Spying, sneaking, seeking to forge his wrath

Far be it from me so easily distracted

Too many wondrous things to see

Cleverly, brashly from my task he refracted

Planning a divine meal of me

Luckily little did he know

A surprise for Monsieur Rougarou

Under my hood, I had my bow

This Cajun girl’s aim is always true

OH YUM, OH YUM! Granny and I sure did boast

As we feasted up our succulent roast
