The Hidden Side of Me

It's five a.m. I get all dressed up. I put my make-up and my heels on. I stare in the mirror and who I see, she's not really me. This girl in the mirror is beautiful and intelligent. She's vivacious and confident, all while being so strong. But the girl that nobody knows. The one I store deep down in my soul... she's cold. So cold she's almost lifeless but she still lives inside of me. She's sneaky but not very smart. She believes in nothing she does. But the worst part is... she's weak. Her emotions easily over take her. And her gullibility brings her much pain. But maybe that's why I NEVER let her out to play.
