In Her Eyes

Look at her eyes
How they glimmer and shine
The sun is setting
Yet still they sparkle in the light of the lime

Your grey eyes are too clouded to see it
The pride you have is too great for you to hear
You fail to notice the hope with which she speaks
You are too blinded by your own fear

The new moon has almost risen
Yet still she sings
The stars are fading out
But still her eyes do gleam
