Her
She was once lost,
in the world around.
Wanting little, giving lots,
Always happy somehow.
Never seemed sad,
Never showed a frown.
She grew older.
Soon, I moved on.
New School,
No friends.
Taunted and hated.
No longer happy.
As age grew,
Along did sadness
Fake smiles, forced laughs.
She is a teen now.
Life isn’t easy,
Suicidal and alone.
Yet, that little girl,
still lives on.
Wishing the world,
Would one day see,
The girl, kind hearted,
Gentle, yet so sad.
