Her
Have you ever once considered the incomprehensible measures of our crevice world?
Just how immeasurably small it can be when fate decides it's time to intervene?
I once merely glimpsed her whilst occupying the blistering gravel of a basketball court on a hot August day.
Then again nearly 4 years later in the back of a small store that smelled of cracking cardboard boxes and collective dust.
Two indifferent strangers pushed together through the waves of time by nothing other than what could only ever be fate.
My version of the story tells of a woman not yet recognized with a small round face, confident stature, and features of the most captivatingly beautiful creature I'd ever laid eyes on.
Hers tells of a remembered woman from long ago looking as young as she did that day on the court and irresistibly flourishing in her heart.
She caught my eye with the first turn of her head and my heart with the first passing of breath between her lips.
Thus my world changed with no regret.
It's all...
Entirely
Irrevocably
Overwhelming
Her.
