Her

Wake up to nothing but

The earth, her sea-like grass sashaying all around you;

the faint sound of the ocean

traveling through the trees.

Alone for seconds, then minutes,

eventually days--

survival comes from the fruits that She provides.

Alone for months, years--

survival comes from the seedlings taken from Her.

One single seed being the sole provider

of the sea-like grass

and another for the trees around.

A single seed.

What more is there?
