The Helpful Voice Inside My Head

Do they see it? Are they seeing this?!

Relax, girl. I'm looking out for you, remember?
they only see that tumble of curls on your cute little head and the glasses that are a little too big, but that's alright, I can work with that.

Are you sure? 'cause I can feel the crazy dribbling down my cheeks and hanging out on my chin.

Those are tears, silly girl. Now wipe your face and smile or they are sure to catch you in your lie!

I can't , my face is too heavy now, I-I need you to take over now. It's you they like anyway. you're so much funnier and cooler, I'd never get asked out on dates if you weren't here with me. and why else would I have friends? You made me and i love you.

Enough with the sentimental crap, baby girl. just sit back in that corner of yours and let me do my thing. Besides, I already knew that. I'm in your head, remember?
