Hello/Goodbye

Of everyone,

Every person on the planet,

I met you.

Why you?

You were absolutely the last person I ever wanted to meet.

Tall, dark, and handsome

With a sharp tongue set to kill

But I was not to be beat

I gave as good as I got

And somehow along the way I started to actually like you.

Now I don’t really know how it happened

but sharp tongue lashings turned to witty barbs

And enemies turned to friends

Then things got complicated

You were still handsome

And I’m still human

But no not anymore

I can’t

Not after what you did

You betrayed me

You hurt the one person I care about more than life itself

You nearly got my sister killed

I’ll never forgive you

Not until the day I die

You were my worst hello

And now your my favorite goodbye
