Hello, Goodbye

Hey,

That’s all you say?

Three years since we’ve talked two months from today,

My friend,

Good to see you again,

Yes, I knew this would happen but I didn’t know when,

Remember?

We met in September,

Soon our friendship burned bright from the vibrant orange embers,

I missed you,

I really did,

Not a day has gone by when you weren’t in my head,

Please,

Don’t leave me again,

I barely got by without you my friend,

Yes,

Yes you can,

I’ll always be there holding your hand,

You can do this,

You’ve made it this far,

All of your wounds will become battle scars,

I’ll be there,

Every step the whole way,

Right by your side although it’s cliche,

I love you,

As a sister I mean,

And I’ll stay by your side despite where you’ve been,

Shit!

You manipulative b*tch,

Don’t you dare pull my innocent brother into this,

Can’t believe that I got myself into this sitch,

To think that you changed at all, oh that is rich,

Yes, I know that I promised to stay by your side,

Long before I ever saw that you’re toxic inside,

And that all you ever said was a lie,

That night all I did was cry,

The last thing I wanted was to say goodbye,

But you missed that the first has always been to thrive.
