Heart of Courage

Location

Some say that all have a fatal flaw,

a flaw that will at us gnaw,

and weaken, and maim,and hurt our spirit.

However, some believe in a way to cure it.

I believe in such a divine law,

where there is a way to escape the devil's maw.

A way that requires a heart of courage,

to conquer that which was once descouraged;

my fear, my terror, my tendency to withdraw,

from a hope that aways ends in my yaw,

to learn and hear, to friend and earn,

a trust with others that will forever burn.

My heart with courage, my strength to thaw,

from my light, my power will draw;

and I will fight to conquer all!

My, fear, my terror, my tendency shall fall!
