Harvest

My small dove how I long to see you so

Your memories cool like rain on my cheeks

I have searched long, for you, the one I seek

You are to be the one, which I bestow

My cold empty heart, but for you it glows

I have fallen for someone so unique

You have risked your heart for someone so weak

We have sown the seeds now we watch it grow

We must nurture and care much for our seeds

Water and fertilize them with our hearts

Watch as they grow and grow infinitely

Worry about taking care of it’s needs

Wither as it destroys all of our parts

Then reap what we sow indefinitely
