As Hard as I Try.

As the waves crash down, the walls close in,

Thoughts and ideas remain stagnant having nowhere to escape to.

I scream them out loud, but they disappear into the wind.

What’s the point of that?

We have the need to share.

Yelling into the void accomplishes nothing,

But frustrates me to no end.

Being trapped, alone, with no one to talk to,

That sounds like my worst nightmare.

The only sound would be the sea,

But I need someone to talk to.

And as hard as I try,

the sea doesn’t talk back.
