Happenings in Heaven

Too many of the greats have fallen,

Each shining star dimming,

The world losing more of its good glory,

It shouldn’t be like this,

But it is,

It always has been,

The cycle of life we've been told,

Doesn’t make it any less painful,

To lose one of the greats,

The one who made the day seem better,

The fun more fantastic,

And the magic more magnificent,

Is the biggest burden we humans bear.

There is a concert in Heaven,

One grand performance after another,

Here he comes,

There she goes!

There is a gathering in Heaven,

While there is a gathering on Earth,

And people are crying,

Teardrops kiss the sweet air,

As the music sounds sweet,

The most uplifting things,

May almost be the hardest.
