The truth is the truth

Only when you say it, still

But only you can

For all of its brevity, this is honestly an acknowledgment of one of the most profound aspects of existence, and one which is easily accessible through writing. By writing something, or by acknowledging it, you make it true--or as you put it, "truth is the truth only when you say it." By writing or speaking the truth, we make it so because we invest it with our beliefs. That is how every idea--great and small, revolutionary and mundane--has come into existence. I truly value this poem.
