haiku collection

I thought i knew him

battered eyes, glasses shoved up

carefree with a smile.

But I didn't know

Depression had it's claws deep

Pain showed in his eyes.

He was too weary

Shut away his heart, buried

his pain from us all.

He wears a smile

Carefree attitude, none of

those troubles that had plagued him.

I don't know what happened

But it's him again, the man

I knew, the man who does.
