Habitation in the Wood / Abu Karim

My habitation is in the wood, a beautiful sight,

many birds chirp around me day and night.

Bees have built a honeycomb on a branch;

their sense of art pleases me much.

Torrential rains pour in rainy season mornings for hours;

my mind becomes nostalgic in the fragrance of flowers.

Grasshoppers fly around the sky, nice to see.

in the afternoon elephant sprinkle water in glee.

The sun makes a rainbow on water in seven colors;

I become charmed with his cheerful cheers.

Animals, birds, plants and trees live in the wood;

they all live with one another having a strong brotherhood.
