THE GRUGNAX

The meanest trick I ever knew

Was the one you nor I would ever do.

I saw a Grugnax try to do it,

And there was nothing funny to it.

He pulled a chair from under Dee,

As she was sitting down: but he

Was sent to bed, that Grugnax snot,

A gentleman he was not!

Quite repulsive in a bunch

The Grugnax lick their fingers,

And the Grugnax lick their knives;

They spill their drinks all over lunch.

Oh, they lead disgusting lives!

Grugnax all talk while eating.

Loudly and fast they chew;

And that is why I’m glad that I

Am not a Grugnax nor are you!
