Growing Up
Being a kid was elementary
Inviting everyone to your anniversary
A couple of passes for being fussy
A few free passes for being bratty
Branching off to a new school
Power went to those who were cool
But in reality that hierarchy was minuscule
Minutes pass by fast
Sitting in class to lunch to the last
People in extracirriculars are typecast
But growth can never be outlast
Popularity gave you clout
But focusing on education would let you stand out
