Grecian Fool

Pandora

Foolish girl

You let your curiosity get the best of you

And opened the box

That forsaken box

And now your brethren and children

Will suffer

A fate of sins and evil

Is now the ways

Of humanity

 

Icarus

Foolish boy

With wings of wax

Escape was within your grasp

As was the Sun

Greed and Pride

Fueled your flight

But the Sun will always be mightier than you

So your arrogance melted

And sent you crashing into the sea

 

Foolish girl

Foolish boy

Mistakes you have made

But which was worse?

Damnation of humanity?

Or the death of a boy?

The former seemingly trumps the latter

But why?

Because he was a lone fool

That is why
