Greatest Love

The walls I had built came tumbling down

My soul was pierced with a two-edged sword called love

My heart was arrested from a path so reckless by grace

It came down, swept over me like a rushing river

It set me free and cleansed my soul

I saw it, I felt it, I heard the quiet voice speak

A heart of stone transformed into a heart of flesh

How can this be?

A body of dry bones coming back to life

The breath of life hit me suddenly

I had no words to speak, speechless I stood

My mind racing trying to comprehend the unfathomable

Transformed, renewed, forgiven, blameless

How can this be?
