Writing is an escape
From the things I can't control.

Because my other method to cope
Truly gives no control at all.

My life is wild and crazy
And the blades just make it hazy.

My heart is breaking daily
And no one can seem to mend it.

So I write away the pain and longing
To keep myself from being sorry.

For taking the life I was given
When I know, I make a difference.
