Grasp The Gravity

These reports of the misfortune forecast in the media

I cannot fathom what may come to fruition

Are these consequences indeed a certainty unstoppable?

Or is it just a series of cries of superstition?

The fact remains that we will not know until it happens

But should we live in fear during the time that we wait?

Sooner or later we will see the sum of the years

How that one event snowballed or had little reason to intimidate

How can I grasp the gravity of the events of the world?

Here on this planet we fall before we rise

And there are those who choose to stay fallen

Letting the weight of the gravity keep them down

It is easy and sometimes appealing to give up on hope

When we should really let the sparks keep igniting the flame

As long as hope stays alive in the world that we live

We can be a beacon in the universe without burning ourselves

Grasp the gravity

Know what is pushing you downward

Grasp the levity

Have some humor as you go forward

Grasp the longevity

Levity last forever

Grasp it now

Grasp it now

Grasp it now
