Granted

Life is complicated.
Every choice you make will stay with you for the rest of your life.
Granted, you're 16 and still living with your parents,
So remember your strife.

Take it all in and don't take it for granted,
Because it's all going to be different soon.
Watch your town and your friends,
Listen to the familiar voices.
Do it before it all ends.

Life is simple.
You're born, you grow up, you find your purpose, you die.
Granted finding your purpose isn't that easy,
But it's the most important thing to do before you leave.
