Grace for You Sally

Day and night

At a violent tide

My heart flapping in my chest like

A hungry cub

My whole shivering in worry

Thinking deep thoughts of the one a far with

Imaginations

My empty house drowned in loneliness

I lie on my bed imagining how it will feel

Meeting

You Sally

Your grace and candor

My dear you proofed a honey-maker for

All that I see

Next to you
