Goodbye

Your hands feel like music, igniting my soul

your words fill with thought and off sweet tongues they roll

into my mind to grow like a tree

each swish of your hair starts a fire in me.

It flows off your head in a roaring cascade

It smells like hibiscus and sweet marmalade

your cheeks match the crimson portrayed on your lips

your waist seems to whisper in spite of your hips.

I just want to hold you and kiss you once more

to feel like I’m flying six feet off the floor

Your skin is an ocean, with my skin collides

Your laugh is the current, your breath is the tides

I’m lost in your love like a sailor at sea

your face is my map, your heart is the key

but your presence is gone and there is dark in the sky

I miss you my love, why did you die?
