God's there

Location

It's the loudest yet the quietest kind
It's the easy yet the painful time
You lie on the floor and scream the hardest
But no one hears, no one walks in

You just hold your stomach
And cover your mouth
And meanwhile you realize that there's no one that turns around

You scream, cry and call out for help
But no one listens, no one stops
You're like a stone on the street that is never noticed
You're like a wave in the ocean that remains unseen

You know you're alone
but dear, how did you not realize,
that God is there?
He is there through your loudest yet the quietest kind and the easy yet the painful time

And if I could, I'd be there too
Because even if you were a stone or an unseen wave
I'd always love you
