Global Change

Global warming.
We tread upon that word everyday
Saying how sorry we are for it’s existence
But we are the existence that has brought those words into this world
If it weren’t for the previous generation
All that coal that we found
Deep inside the ground
That new found glory soon to be uncrowned

The steam train
The economical gain
That new found reign
That would soon cause pain

The polar bear
No one seems to care
While we slump in our chair
Staring down the tv screen just over there.

We’ve come into the 21st century
Looking at this new found technology
So look up into reality
Cause ice caps calving are the actuality
We just don’t have time to drink dat herbal tea
Cause now we gotta face the verity

Global warming
