I think about how our time passed by
And honestly, it's like a blink of an eye
We're like matches burning the moment we clash
We sparked then blazed but sadly all turned to ash

Some years later I thought of you again
Thought of how I love you back then
I began to reminisce the truth and lie
And to my surprise I start to cry

Then some time passes again and I thought of you
How we're perfect but we never knew
How distance killed your love for me
And how distance made me too blind to see

From then to now I have never forgotten
My feeling for you from way back then
It hurts to watch you fall and break
Only to stand up and repeat the fall you make

I feel exhausted as I look upon the sky
Clinging to the past of you and I
So far back in time yet still haunts this heart of mine
Enclosed in my own perfect shattered glass time
