Cancer is nothing but a thief.

Steals from children, adults, and animals alike

but has given to me much grief

When I was but a child at the age of seven 

cancer that thief turned my life upside down 

causing my beloved father to ascend to heaven 

Cancer is nothing but utter disgrace

although you did get your way and cause me much harm

you brought the innocent away from this terrible place 

You have provided many angels watching over us from the skies
