To the Girls Who Weep

Dear Girl in the bathroom,

It was third hour when I heard you

I knew it was something much worse than a meer flu

Why must you quietly weep in a moaning cry

I can only imagine as to why

The words that were sharpied in the stalls

Screaming your name with “slut” all over the newly painted walls

Maybe this time you finally believed it

Those words left you in an inescapable pit

Don’t you know you are so much more

But you still belive they see you as a double faced whore

I want to reach behind you with a large embrace

Yet I can’t bare to see that face

Those are written words of insecure females

And they will never know all your details

 Sincerly your peer,  Mariah
