The Girl Without a Flaw

All my life I fought to become

The girl without a flaw

I tossed and turned, awake at night

This is what I saw.

A world of perfect people,

Every one the same.

And as I dreamed I realized

That would be rather...lame.

I coninued to think and as I thought,

Words in my mind appeared,

If everyone is special, no one is

And then, the tears.

I knew I couldn't achieve perfection

(At least not the world's definition of it)

But I knew I had people who saw me as perfect

And that was all I needed.
