The Girl in Blue
Her light blue dress swirled around her legs and ankles
Her white converse were covered in black filth from the train tracks
The approaching light blinded and stupefied her
Her feet were being held by fear’s clenched fists
Bolted to the ground
The train kept coming, seemingly faster
It acted as if there was no one in front of it
Begging for her life with silent tears
Her light blue dress swirled around her legs and ankles
Much more wildly this time
Her white converse were covered in black filth from the train tracks
The departing light left those present blind and stupefied
Their feet being held by fear’s clenched fists
Bolted to the ground
The train kept going, seemingly faster
It acted as if there was no one left behind it
No longer with life, her body remained silent
There lied the girl in blue
Mysterious and forever quiet
