The Ghost

United States

This cave was haunted

I know because I was there

A distant light glowed and

Shivered under the shadows

The walls glisten with decay

And the chill sunk into my skin

When the I heard the silence cease,

I noticed the eternal echoes of death

A tangible fear danced

But I could not flinch

Slow dripping water and blood

Stains the dimples in the rock

This cave is haunted

I know because I am here
