Fun Mirrors

Her mirror belongs in a carnival, a wrong distorted image of what she looks like.
She'll try to bend herself to make that reflection look perfect.
Cut down what is eaten until it resembles the remnants of a forest.
"I already ate" is a line so well rehearsed every time you hear it you'd think she were an actress.
But actresses get support and awards, and all she received were names,
Names which are forever etched into her mind, and eventually her skin:
Fat, worthless, ugly, you name it she's heard it.
All she was given were these names,
and eventually her tombstone.
She made the mistake of trying to change herself, when in fact
she just needed a better mirror.
