Full Circle
Time and time again, we repeat,
To live previous lives,
We live and then weep,
We then warn and die,
But despite our best teachings,
Descendants are our kin,
And it is in our natural condition to make mistakes,
So we run a Full Circle with the same mistakes,
Like a solar eclipse,
With the promised enlightenment,
Only to be hidden,
By evil's black,
Oroboros the self-eating Snake,
A desire of happiness,
Lead to demise,
For it's a sort of scientific law,
A law of polarity,
That everything has ups and downs,
A law for cycles,
That we don't learn from our mistakes,
For a year of enjoyment,
Full of play and magic,
Will cost you,
Full of work and hate,
A lot to take in,
It's easier for you,
a once blossoming flower,
to curl up like a circle,
and die next Winter.
