Friendship

You can tell a friend I hate you,
And tell them a goodbye
You can tell them that I loved you,
And they're worth more than the sky
But they wouldn't understand it,
The way I did to you
But the thing that is special,
Is a friend above them all
Someone who might not love you,
and shows you that they care
But a simple friendship pays,
As special as a strand of hair.
