Freely Me

Put my feelings into words,

Teach me lessons I've never heard.

How to speak with authority,

Help me to better understand me.

Describe the world through my eyes,

Create something one of a kind.

A form of expression from the heart,

With truest feelings and deepest thoughts.

A clever use of simple words,

A reference in which to refer.

A timeless view of a current place,

With finger snaps, guitars and bass.

Where hands, dimmed lights, candles and stools,

Are the usual choice of tools.

Matthew six, nine to one three,

At the young age of three,

Yeah, that's what poetry means to me.
