Four Letters, Four Seasons

Sweet crisp autumn air

Orange and yellow leaves in my hair

The sky is clear and blue

But there’s one thing missing… you.

You left in summer

Oh that was really a bummer.

You said you’d return before September

Did you forget or did you remember?

Remember your promise? The pact we made?

My dear, our love was never to fade.

Ill never forget the time we met

I was running in rain and got sopping wet

You pulled over your car to let me in

At first I was hesitant but soon I gave in

You gave me that fleece jacket the one with the hearts

Oh for our blossoming love that was surly the start

I can flashback all I want to the good days of spring,

But forever the sad melody of my heart will sing.

Please come back! Oh someday soon?

I hope you will before winter’s full moon.
