Foundations of Outdoor Adventure
Outdoor Adventures has taught me some things
Just over the course of a short 8 weeks
Welcome week was stressful and exciting at the same time
The weeks following have brought many adventures into my life
Not even tornado warnings can keep the smile off my face,
Attitude is everything, as we learned in OA
Rumors were that Lake Griffy was not the best place...
But through my own perspective, I found that wasn't really the case
Backpack group 1 classes were always a good time,
Learning how to's and safety measures in the outdoor life
And I've enjoyed the scenery of IUB
The beauty of nature is often overlooked,
but as we all know once you see it...you're hooked
Outdoors aside, adventures go on...
Blacklights and paint on Elkin One
The backpacking girls on our weekend trip
Ultimately learned water in pots can easily be tipped
But really it was an experience I will always remember
Because I love the wilderness and outdoor adventures
And sometimes this adventure won't always go our way
The important thing is that there are people there to make the best of it anyway
Outdoor Adventures has not only taught me some things...
It has also given me friends, new perspective, and some life long memories
