Forever Red, White, and Blue

Pause.

Rewind.

Turn back the hand's of time.

Stop.

Eject.

You weren't supposed to die yet.

So young.

So eager.

Patriotic over-achiever...

If I could bring you back,

I'd watch you raise a family.

If I could give you life,

We would again be whole, madly.

If I could change the world,

I would bless it with your presence.

Yet, your memory serves to remind-

All soldiers go to Heaven.
