Forever Him

My heart broke like a fallen tree succumbed to the wind that is you,

Long has life passed me by I watch as days turn to months and years,

Too long have I sat by in idle because my love for him grows like a fire never to be extinguished,

Long days and longer nights I have stayed awake and wished for his voice, his laugh, the soft touch of his lips against mine,

The deep longing for him grows within my mind until it has consumed every cell in my body,

The faded memories I cling to will be the death of me,

Until my final breath the last words on my lips will be for him.
