Standing on the bank.

She raised her flute to her lips.

She blew long and sweet.

The wind picked up.

The song flowed with the wind.

The wind blew north.

As if to take it.

Away to lands full of music.

And rolling mountains.

Sweet, clear, and strong.

The flute sang into the wind.

A fairy herd it.

The fairy danced to it.

Then the flute stopped.

The girl put her flute away.

She walked back home.

The fairy smiled.

The fairy loved the song.

For a song like that.

A song from the heart that is.

Is always  loved.

For who played it.

Loved it so all others did.
