Unironically, the title of this poem says it all

Forgot the train of thought

Metaphors make sense only when thoughts make sense

(The two complement each other)

Is this nonsense?

Think I cannot smother

If I told you the above poem had no meaning taken as a whole, but only as a series of disparate lines meaning to be connected but the connections weak and momentary, would you believe me?

Would it deceive me?

Rhymed the two together because I'd thought they could be combined
