Floral Flares
Dandelion seeds set sail through the sky,
Past the clouds, the air's weightless foam.
Uprooted, but impalpable to scoffers,
Floral balloons searching for a home.
On they hover above the pallet,
Spectrum-like cycle of colors in a field,
Spinning round and round in ballet,
Just land anywhere and you will all be healed.
Amidst the buzz the blue buds blossom,
As does the aster x frikartii,
Pedals that do not require steps,
Making way for the queen's subjects.
Though roses have their outward thorns,
Deep within they seek comfort,
In the company of close ones without scorn.
To this request, what would one retort?
Sea weeds need not be webs that are despised;
They just greet us as we pass on by.
Orison of the orange sun over on the ocean.
Starling gales spread flares across the sky!
