Flaw(s)less

So many flaws,
How can I be perfect.
So many mistakes,
How can I be strong.
So tied up
I'm expected to be powerless,
Expected to be self-centered,
To throw away my Faith like a sinner.
So many expectancy
I only have this one life,
What do you expect of me.
My flaws are apart of me
They make me who I really want to be.
Tough times are thrown at me
But I fight them off like Muhammad Ali.
I'm a strong black women you see,
So flawless even in my dreams
I'm starting to believe I woke up to these things
But with life expectancy
My flaws are what makes me flawless,
You see.
