Flaws Without Flaws

I may have my flaws,

I may have my faults,

But I am flawless!

I am perfect in every way,

I am beautiful!

Look at me,

No, not at me.

Look at what is inside.

Look past the blood and guts,

Beyond the pancreas and the diaphragm.

Look at my heart.

There is so much love to give,

Inside of that fist-sized organ.

But, the heart is just a symbol.

We must continue our travels,

Our travels of the inside.

Onward and upward! Hi-Yao Silver!

Up the spinal column, past the dendrites!

The control center is our next stop.

The brain.

It is in charge of my whole body!

It takes care of me,

It takes care of the fuctions.

This is what makes me tick.

This is a place that controlls my flaws,

When I have a secret,

it hides it.

When there is something to be done, it does it.

It holds all of my lies,

It festers all of my hatred.

But it also loves,

Shows compassion.

Yes I have flaws,

Some more visable than others.

But deep inside,

Where all of our love, compassion and understanding resides,

We are all flawless!

And so am I!
