Flawlessly Me

Who am I?

Am I unique?

Indeed, I am, but why?

There is so much to critique.

I do not have the grace of a dancer - no, not I

I do not have the face of a doll - no, not I

I do not have the strength of an athlete - no, not I

But I am valuable - yes, I

I have knowledge that many cannot know

I'm not the smartest, though.

I can move mountains covered in snow

But they are not displaced even a stone's throw.

What makes me unique is my determination

Determination, yes, or motivation

Both of these I do have - and they have resulted in my creation

I am who I am because of my own proclamation

I am who I chose to be

Because who I chose to be is who I become

It is perseverance - that is the key

I make me who I want to be; my time has come

I may not be society's perfect

But I am perfectly me

A daisy is not a rose, correct?

Yet a daisy is as flawless as could be.

Who am I?

I am flawlessly me.
