Fires of the Night
Some are visible and loud in broad daylight
But the wildest fires come through the night
When all is silent, when all is dark
When nothing is visible but what gazes upon you from the sky
The fire breaks the stillness of the night
When not a soul is awake to notice
Except for he himself who lit the fire
Now he walks away satisfied with his deed
But one day he shall reap the consequence
